My Gallbladder Eviction Journey
Hi, everyone, it's been a while ... I'm here to share my story, about having Gallstones and undergoing surgery to remove my gallbladder. Everything started in Nov 2019. Nov 1, 2019, after having late lunch, I felt so bloated and my back aches a bit. I took a nap and when I woke up in the afternoon, I ate my usual 4pm meal. After I ate, my stomach starts to feel burning. I thought it was my acid reflux, which I often feel especially when I was a teenager. I use to keep a bottle of antacid but unfortunately, I ran out of it that day. I thought that the pain will eventually past. But it got worst and I start to feel nauseous, I can feel chest pain that radiates to my back. That is the time my husband decided to rush me to the ER. When we arrived at the emergency room, I was checked and was given a Prescription; Gaviscon 2 sachet and an instruction to go home and just go back if the pain doesn't go away.
