Beauty on a Budget (tips for moms like me)

Being a mother is the most satisfying job in the world..

Tiring but fulfilling…

And being a mother  is not easy …

it’s a 24/7 job without day off ..

There are too many things for me to do in one day such as

preparing meals, cleaning the house,

giving my son a bath, making sure my two boys (my husband and my son ) eat on time,

dropping my son off to his classes, etc.,

giving me no time for myself at all. 

And  as a mom… my first priority ofcourse

is my son's need before mine..

And Stretching the budget for all the family needs like  foods, bills , toiletries , School payments , etc

Is  really hard and giving us moms a headache... 

But that doesn't  mean that i should start letting  my self go because i

i dont have much timeand cannot afford the beauty products that i need.

Wouldn't it be nice to be a great mother and a beautiful wife as well?

There are a lot of beauty products that has a good quality and affordable price ..

For me… why spent when u can save? .. 

Being beautiful doesn't need to be expensive ..

So I always look for those good products that I can use to make me

feel and look beautiful but doesn't slice a big part of my budget…

Tips :

*When Shopping for make ups and beauty products,

always remember to take only what you need..

Its not good to buy more than a couple of lipstick for example 

that you don't need or will never wear.

Also, take a look at what you already have in your makeup bag to avoid duplicates.

* Buy make ups one at a time ..

For example you buy one shade of  lipstick out of your  budget  For this week or  for this month ,

maybe u can have another makeup product for the the next week's  or next month's budget .

that way you dont need to spend much and cut your budget for your family

just for your makeups. 

*Set a limit for your self . Do not over spend ..

Give your self a limit and do not break it ..

Buy only one to two item that wont take too much part of your budget..

*Why pay for simple beauty treatments when you can make it at home.

Hair treatments like hot oil, hairspa, hair reborn are hair treatments that

are easy and can be done at home..

You can buy hair treatments at the drugstore and apply it yourself.

This will save time and money  that you will have to spend  Having it done in the salon..

As well as manicure and pedicure which u can do your self.

*Facial treatment ? Try to look in your kitchen, There are a lot of stuffs over there that you can use..

Honey, eggs,  oatmeal , avocado those are some that you can use as facial mask.

Here are some affordable products that I love ..

These are not high end make ups but works well..

Let's start with the face ..

 Ever Bilena Advance Shine free liquid Foundation 

with UVA/UVB

it comes in a 30 ml bottle

which you can use for a few months..

this liquid foundation is around P80+

the coverage? like other liquid foundation

its a little dewy..

but setting it with a right powder can give a matte finish

 Careline oil control Face powder (refill)

If you got an empty Face powder Compact mirror,

U can just buy this face powder refill ..

u can place it inside the empty compact mirror

or just use it as it is..

i think its available in 4 shades ..

this refill is only P55.00

It went well with my Eb Advance Liquid Foundation

 

Ever bilena Advance Perfect  Eye Concealer 

Just like what it says on its name..

its really perfect in concealing my under eye..

i try using it on my blemishes and pimples

all over my face

but i dont like the result..

its a little cakey when set with powder ..

i guess this only for the eye just as it claims..

but .. i find another way to use it..

primers are quite expensive ..

but for an alternative ..

you can use this concealer as an eye primer ..

(i guess any concealer can act as an eye primer)

i tried it  .. and it make my eyeshadow lasts the whole day!

this eye concealer from EB is only P120.00

which will last for long time..

Lets move on with the brows and eye liner ..

Ever Bilena Evera Eye pencil with Aloe vera and Vit E

this is one of a great eye pencil i've ever tried

plus it is very affordable

only P35 .00

i use the brown for my brows 

and the black as an eye liner..

i really cant go out w/o wearing eyeliner

and this eye pencil is my first love

(before i learn to use liquid liners)

I've tried other brands of eyeliner which is a little pricey

than this but i just dont like them..

there are some which is really cheap but doesn't work well .

San San Eyebrow Pencil

i got this one  in the shadeof black brown

i dont know what the exact price is 

cause this is only given to me by my mom..

i saw it on HBC but im not sure if

im right..

i guess its around 70 or 80 php

Sofe Lip and Eye liner Pencil

 This one is really a lucky pick ..

i bought this at the public market.

from a side walk vendor who is selling alot of kikay stuff

i know some of the cheap eyeliners without brands are not really good

but some works well,

this is only for P10.00

i tried it at the back of my hand and it seems to be good

so i decided to give it a try ..

i use it for my brows..

San San Eye liner pen

i'am really in love with this eye liner pen

it is smudge proof and can last

a whole day ..

no need to re touch ..

 i use it when i feel lazy to put on some make up..

just a powder and a lipbalm will do in those lazy days.
